1. Who we are

Binary Puzzle operates the website at www.binarypuzzle.space. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to contact@binarypuzzle.space.

2. Information processed by the service

We designed the game to work without an account. The service may process:

• Local game data: puzzle progress, elapsed time, settings, theme, and Daily streak stored in your browser.
• Technical request data: IP address, browser type, request time, requested page, and security logs processed by our hosting infrastructure.
• Messages you send: your email address and the contents of a support or privacy request.

We do not ask for a name, account profile, payment details, or puzzle answers.

3. How we use information

We use technical data to deliver pages, prevent abuse, investigate errors, and keep the service secure. We use contact messages to answer the request you made. Where UK data protection law applies, these purposes rely on legitimate interests, performance of a requested service, legal obligations, or consent when consent is specifically requested.

4. Browser storage and cookies

Binary Puzzle uses first-party browser storage to remember game progress, settings, theme, and streaks. This information stays on your device and can be removed through your browser settings. The current service does not use advertising cookies or non-essential analytics cookies.

If we add non-essential storage or tracking, we will update this policy and provide a consent choice where required before that technology is activated.

5. Sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Hosting and security providers may process technical data only to operate their services for us. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users, the public, or the service.

6. Retention

Local game data remains until you clear it or your browser removes it. Hosting and security logs are retained for a limited period set by operational and security needs. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer, document, or resolve the request.

7. International processing

Service providers may process technical data in countries other than your own. When a transfer mechanism is legally required, we expect the relevant provider arrangements and safeguards to apply.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to receive a portable copy of certain information. California residents may also have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Send a request to contact@binarypuzzle.space. Because most game data stays only in your browser, we may not possess information that can identify or retrieve that local progress. UK users may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

9. Children

The service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent us personal information can contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. Security and changes

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when the product, providers, or law changes. The effective date at the top will change, and material updates will be presented clearly.
